Sanford, NC– Adult & Teen Challenge Sandhills has successfully closed on its newest location slated to become the organization’s first residential recovery program for adult women in the Sandhills region. The property, Spring Lane Assembly of God Church, will now undergo a renovation project to what was previously utilized as a childcare center, making way for a new dorm rooms, offices, and improved full bathrooms for residents seeking help with addiction. The organization has been steadily working with the existing church leadership, who will continue to host weekend worship services in the building, along with Tim Carpenter, Engineer, Travis Green, Architect, and numerous donors who have helped to make this project possible. Now that the building has been purchased, Adult & Teen Challenge Sandhills now turns its focus on establishing a grand opening date in early 2025.
