Russ has served Adult & Teen Challenge in various capacities over the years, including directing programs in Las Vegas and Buffalo, NY. With additional experience in urban church planting and addiction counseling at a large Rescue Mission, Russ came to serve as Executive Director/CEO of Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge after working at the Adult & Teen Challenge National Headquarters overseeing the National Office’s Accreditation Strategy. Russ has a B.S. in counseling from the University of Valley Forge and will soon complete an M.A. in Christian Leadership from the same academic institution.
Russ and his wife, Jennifer, who grew up in Teen Challenge as her family served the ministry for many years, along with their daughter Claire are excited to lead the effort to continue a long legacy of offering students in our programs the highest level of care, quality, and integrity for which Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge is known. He and the team are excited for the future as God uses this organization to put hope within reach of all who struggle with addiction!
